In an interview with the program, Chris shared insights into her 34-hectare certified CAR (Rural Environmental Registry) farm with environmental surplus.

The farm has implemented various sustainable practices, including:

  1. Pasture management with fertilization and animal supplementation.
  2. Animal welfare initiatives.
  3. Environmental surplus beyond legal requirements.
  4. Utilization of technology for production monitoring and control.

Chris emphasized the positive impact of sustainable practices on her property, both environmentally and economically.

“We can produce more with less, with less environmental impact and higher profitability,” she affirmed.
